World Challenge is a global educational travel organisation, helping students experience the world beyond the classroom through immersive school trips. Their programs span multiple regions, age groups and destinations, with a complex mix of audiences including students, parents, teachers and school leaders. The existing website carried strong brand equity but struggled under the weight of this complexity. Content was difficult to navigate, regional experiences were fragmented, and internal teams found it challenging to manage and evolve.

World Challenge needed a platform that could support a global organisation while remaining warm, human and inspiring. The website had to communicate trust and credibility to parents and educators, while still capturing the excitement and emotional pull of student travel.

The Shift

The organisation was evolving, and the digital experience needed to reflect that change. World Challenge required a new platform that could unify multiple regions under a single global brand while still allowing for local nuance. The shift was about moving from a static, brochure style site to a dynamic content ecosystem.

The new experience needed to balance inspiration with clarity. It had to guide families and schools through complex decisions, explain programs in detail, and support multiple journeys across different regions. At the same time, it needed to feel alive, modern and emotionally engaging.
