Product Reservation App Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Minimly Product Reservation app (“the App”), developed by Made by Beings Pty Ltd (ABN 25688591031) (“Beings”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing or using the App, you (“Merchant”, “you”) agree to these Terms. 1. Description of Service The App provides inventory reservation functionality for Shopify stores. When a customer adds a product to their cart, the App temporarily holds that inventory using Shopify’s native inventory system and displays a countdown timer on the storefront. Reservations are automatically released when the timer expires, the item is removed from cart, or the customer completes checkout. 2. Requirements To use the App, you must: Have an active Shopify store Enable the App’s theme embed in your store’s theme editor Grant the App the required Shopify API access scopes during installation 3. Merchant Responsibilities You are responsible for: Configuring the App’s settings (reservation duration, product eligibility, notification messages) to suit your business needs Monitoring your inventory levels and reservation activity Ensuring the App’s behaviour is appropriate for your products and customers Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction 4. How the App Uses Shopify Data The App accesses your store’s product, inventory, and order data solely to provide its reservation functionality. Availability and Support We aim to keep the App available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App depends on Shopify’s platform, APIs, and third-party hosting infrastructure, which may experience downtime. For support enquiries, contact us . 6. Limitation of Liability The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law: We do not guarantee that the App will prevent all overselling in every circumstance. Edge cases involving network failures, Shopify API delays, or concurrent high-volume traffic may affect reservation accuracy. We are not liable for any lost sales, oversold inventory, customer disputes, or other damages arising from the use or inability to use the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the fees you have paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater. 7. Pricing and Payment The App is currently offered free of charge. If paid plans are introduced in the future, you will be notified in advance and billing will be handled through Shopify’s Billing API. You will not be charged without your explicit consent. 8. Termination You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. Upon uninstallation, all data associated with your store is permanently deleted within 48 hours.We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that could harm other merchants, customers, or our infrastructure. 9. Intellectual Property The App and its source code, design, and documentation remain the property of Made by Beings Pty Ltd. Installation of the App does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property rights to you. 10. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via the App’s admin interface or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. 11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
