Rebrand and website for Kimberley Day Cruise, inspired by the coast, waterfalls and Kimberley landscape.
Overview
Immersive Kimberley Coast Experiences
Kimberley Day Cruise takes guests out on the Kimberley coast in Western Australia. They worked with Better Brands and us on a full rebrand and digital refresh.
The identity and website take their cue from the region itself.
What We Did
Branding and Digital for Kimberley Adventure
We designed a logo drawn from the Kimberley and a style guide to keep everything consistent, then built a website that leads with big imagery and simple navigation, so it feels as adventurous and as calm as the cruise itself.
Better Brands (formerly Headland Brands) set the direction, and we handled the branding and digital execution.
The Challenge
Capturing the Kimberley’s Scale in the Brand
The old branding didn’t capture the scale of the Kimberley: the waterfalls, the landscape and those deep earthy colours. The company also needed a website that could take people through the Kimberley experience before they had stepped on the boat.
The Strategy
Partnering with Better Brands on Shared Vision
We have worked with Better Brands for a long time, so agreeing on a direction was quick and the rebrand moved in step.
Colour and texture came from the coast, the water, the earth and Horizontal Falls. From there we redrew the identity with a modern logo and style guide. The new site is where people now learn about the cruise and book it, so the UX and the storytelling came first.
The Result
Market Position and Audience Connection
The new brand and site speak more directly to people looking for adventure and natural beauty, and they have given Kimberley Day Cruise a stronger position in the market.
More people are visiting the site and staying longer as they explore the cruises and the region. A better-looking site that is easier to use has helped lift conversions and bookings, and we are still working with Better Brands on what comes next.
