All-Ages Festival Launch in Coffs Harbour
Rolling Sets Festival is an all-ages event in Coffs Harbour, presented by Kingdom Sounds, Afends, Whatslively and +Focus.
For its 2020 debut, the festival needed bold retro illustration, a capable launch site for patrons and industry partners, and seamless ticketing through Oztix.
What We Did
Animating Kingdom Sounds Illustrations
Kingdom Sounds supplied a set of static illustrations: retro, funky, bold and expressive. We turned them into an animated, responsive website that is constantly moving and visually playful.
The site also had to work hard. It needed pages of information for many different audiences, had to drive ticket sales and perform on every device, and had to be easy for the Rolling Sets team to manage, track site stats and use to communicate with interested parties.
Special Feature
Kaleidoscope Lineup Scroll for Launch
Wanting to create something special for the launch of the lineup and the super-secret headliner, our team built a beautiful, kaleidoscope-esque scroll-through lineup that changed colours, art and featured artist photos as you moved up and down through it. A test of our skills, it was a case of custom code and art coming together and it was an amazing surprise we were able to present to the Rolling Sets team.
